Romans 5: 1-8 v 3 “We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know they help us develop endurance.”
Since we have been made right in God’s sight, we have peace. Christ has brought us to a place of undeserved privilege, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know they help us develop endurance.” We know hoe dearly God loves us, for He has given us the Holy Spirit. Christ came at just the right time. Whilst we were still sinners.
Always sinners! This week I have not had a good week. I have been enthusiastic to the point of not listening to others, unable to organize myself without forgetting things, dropping things in my rush to do things right, and generally not feeling the love. It was not a joyful time. It was not peaceful as I also had a terrible night’s sleep. But today when I read this passage, I was able to smile as I was developing endurance, my character, and my hope of salvation.

Romans 5 v 5b
Some days despite our best-efforts things just are not right. How can I understand the love of God is always with me then forge ahead with my own agenda expecting God to work on my terms and timing? This week He has shown me that I need Him in all things. That taking time out to do a relaxing activity gives me less time to be prepared for the work that I must do and then in my hurry to get organized, or get my point across, I forget about letting God’s light shine and show the world an agitated, stressed me.
So today rejoice that God is still working in me and for me, to make me the best person I can be for Him, for my neighbor.
Prayer: Almighty God I thankyou for the trials I have. Shape me to be and do what you have made me for today and every day. Amen.
