Welcome to the community of CrossWalk. A loving diverse group of people who meet online Wednesday evenings for Worship and support others in the community through the challenges of life, the Food For Friends program and other social justice programs.
Wednesday Worship
Sometimes on a journey there is a need to change direction or try something new. This can be done safely on a crosswalk. The goal of CrossWalk ‘s Wednesday Worship is to help those interested in learning, or who are already on a Christian journey, to change or try new spiritual practices. Through our actions and are thoughts to be more like Jesus . At CrossWalk we do this through studying the bible, through prayer and through other spiritual practices that deepen our relationship to God that all were made for.

Food For Friends
Our second goal is to support our neighbors living with food insecurity and homelessness in the communities of Ayr, North Dumfries and area. Several volunteers, with hearts full of love for others, support our Food For Friends program by making meals once per month (Sept-June) for our partner, It Takes A Village and weekly sandwich-making (October-April) for the warming centers in Cambridge. Other CrossWalk programs are supported on a regular basis depending on community needs and the leading of the Holy Spirit. All are welcome to work for social justice.

Our bodies have many parts, but those parts don’t all do the same thing. In the same way even though we are many individuals, Christ makes us one body and individuals who are connected to each other” Romans 12: v 4-5
Take a spiritual break
We are all busy people and over the years of CrossWalk’s spiritual learning we recognize the need to take a break in our day to connect with the holy. Come to CrossWalk on a Wednesday evening at 7pm (Eastern Time) to continue your spiritual journey, join the email list for the blog post or simply take a deep breath and sit comfortably in your chair. Enjoy this song and energize your day:-
