What if the Lord had not been on our side? They would have swallowed us alive with their burning anger. What if the Lord had not been on our side? Yes, the raging waters of their fury would have overwhelmed our very lives. Praise the Lord. We escaped like a bird from a hunter’s trap. The trap is broken, and we are free! Our help is from the Lord who made heaven and earth.
Sometimes listening to the news, I wonder what if my house was flooded? Where would I go if I was evacuated due to forest fires? What if I lost my savings due to fraudulent investments ? What if the Lord had not been on my side? I am thankful that although I have made some big moves in my life, I have been supported by a loving God. I am free to enjoy my life today!
