Psalm 105: 1-6, 23-26, 45b v “Remember the wonders He has performed, his miracles, and the rulings he has given.”
Let the whole world know what He has done. Tell everyone His wonderful deeds. Search for the Lord and His strength; continually seek Him. “Remember the wonders He has performed, his miracles, and the rulings he has given.” The Lord multiplied the people of Israel until they became too mighty for their enemies. Praise the Lord!
The power of multiplication happens when we share the Gospel and see people decide to repent and believe, and then we help those disciples become “fishers of men” to go out and make other disciples. Christ’s strategy included pouring time into the 12 disciples, knowing that investing in the few would reach the many. – a quote from global frontier missions
Way before Jesus continued the pattern, we see in the psalm the process of how to share the wonderful things that God does for us on earth today so that we can tell people the good He has done. In searching for the Lord, continually seeking Him, we will see the wonders He has performed. In my life I have been able to stay connected to my family in the UK and now with the wonders of zoom am able to chat and see them on a regular basis. How great is that! I have growing relationships with my children and my grandchildren that are priceless. I am thankful that they all live close now so that we can enjoy time together every week. I am thankful for the members of CrossWalk who attend on a Wednesday night for fellowship, learning and prayer. For the joy of cooking for those experiencing food insecurity in the community. For the quiet moments given to me to be able to put words into print that are given to me by God. When you continually seek Him, he can be found!
Prayer: Heavenly Father open our eyes to you in the world around us as we continually seek you with thanks and praise. Amen.
