Really Love

Romans 12: 9-21 v 10 “Love each other with genuine affection (brotherly love) and take delight in honoring each other. “

Don’t   pretend to love others. Really love them. Love each other with genuine affection (brotherly love) and take delight in honoring each other. “Never be lazy but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. Rejoice in hope. Keep praying.  Be ready to help God’s people in need. And don’t think you know it all. Practice hospitality. Never pay back evil with more evil. Do all that you can to live in peace. Never take revenge. Feed your enemies and give them water. Conquer evil by doing good.

It’s great during the summer to be out at the beach, to feel the warm sun strengthening our bones. To watch all the people interacting in harmony having fun. From seniors to young babies living for a few moments in harmony. In this passage we see that is what God wants for us all the time. To help those around us whether they are good to us or not. To genuinely, really love everyone. Our family, friends and even our enemies. As the summer sun fades don’t let that love for everyone fade. As the work routines intensify as school schedules take hold of our daily routines keep loving everyone you meet. That’s what God wants. Leave revenge and pay back for evil to Him.

” Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep.”
Romans 12 v 15

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank you for the easy times to love others. Be with us every day as we try to show brotherly love for others in all we do. Amen
