Exodus 16: 2-15v 7 “In the morning you will see the glory of the Lord, because He has heard your complaints, which are against Him, not against us. What have we done that you should complain about us?”
The whole company were complaining about Moses and Aaron. They remembered that they had a life in Egypt where they had meat and bread to eat. They were now about to starve to death because they followed Moses and Aaron. The Lord told Moses that He would rain down food from heaven. And told them how to use it. By evening you will realize that it was the Lord who brought you out of Egypt. In the morning you will see the glory of the Lord because He has heard your complaints, which are against Him, not against us. What have we done that you should complain about us?” The people looked out into the wilderness and saw the awesome glory of the Lord in a cloud. Quail came that evening and in the morning the dew dried up and left a white powder. The food that the Lord has given you to eat.

It is always easy to complain about the people around you like the Israelites did, blaming Moses and Aaron for the problems they were having. Also looking back to a time when things were better and asking the question why did we do this? However, we can be reassured by this story that God is listening to us. He will show us His glory, as the days are shortening, we see the sunrise and sunsets so beautiful. Provide for our basic needs, how abundant our gardens are at this time of year, the markets full of good things to eat. So don’t blame your spouse, family, or others around you for your discomfort. Don’t look back at what was. First look for the signs of God around you and know that He will provide in the morning and the evening all you need!
Prayer: Heavenly Father who hears our complaints and sees our need thank you for the wonders of this world and the joy we find in them. Help us to look forward to the good things that you have in store for us. Amen.
Use the stairs or walk to reduce carbon emissions.
According to a publication by MHealthy, a green initiative at the University of Michigan, the average person generates approximately 6.5 kg of carbon emissions annually by using the elevator. In order to save electricity and limit your carbon footprint, think about using the stairs whenever possible, which, in addition to helping the environment, will benefit your health and fitness too.
