Struggling, Alive for Christ!

Philippians 1:21-30 v 21 “For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better.”

For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better.” If I live, I can do more fruitful work for Christ. I don’t know what is better. I want to go be with Christ. For your sakes, it is better that I continue to live. I will live to see you again and then you can grow and experience the joy of your faith. Live as citizens of heaven. You have been given the privilege of trusting in Christ and suffering for Him. We are struggling together.

I have had these same thoughts myself. Especially during a time when God was taking women in the church, I attended back home to Him. Women in my generation were dying and I was working with women dying of Cancer. I was getting older but the age of those I was seeing began to be consistently younger than me. And there is the dilemma if I died who would help these women? If I gave up the struggles in my life who would miss out on being saved? And what has God done for me? He has given me a group of women who join me in the struggles of life and the joys of trusting in Christ.

“You have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for Him. ” Philippians 1v29

Prayer: Heavenly Father thank you for giving me close friends on the journey of life with you. People who share the struggles and the joys. Amen.
