Psalm 78: 1-4, 12-16 v 4 “We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord, about his power and His mighty wonders. “
Open your ears to what I am saying. We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord, about his power and His mighty wonders. “The miracles when He divided the sea, making water stand up like walls. Leading in a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. Opening rocks to give water like a gushing spring.
This is part of our heritage as Christians, miracles that were performed for us all to understand and believe in a God that can do great things outside the realms of science and understanding. To believe in the unseen love and kindness of God who provides for all our needs.
Maybe your journey isn’t as dramatic as that of the Israelites all those years ago. Maybe you have just moved around the corner or across town from where you grew up. Maybe you came from another culture to where you are now. Take a moment today to think back on your travels. How has God helped you?

Prayer: Almighty God who sees us when we are in need thank you for the miracles of friendship and help from strangers. For providing us with what we need wherever we travel and leading us now and in the past on the path towards your purpose. Amen
