World Food Day (WFD) was founded by the United Nations’ (UN) Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in 1945, and has been observed annually, every October 16, since 1981. The Canadian Foodgrains Bank highlights this day with special educational material to educate us on the current needs of the world . Locally the Cambridge foodbank deals with the practical effects of food insecurity. Information from these three organizations will be used today in our worship service. Come and listen, discuss and see how these organizations are working together ” Until all are fed”
