Psalm 19v 1 “The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display His craftmanship.”
Day after day the skies continue to speak, without a sound or a word, yet their message goes to all the world. God made a home in the heavens for the sun. Nothing can hide from its heat. The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul, making wise the simple and bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are clear, lasting forever and true. More desirable than gold, sweeter than honey. O Lord, my rock, my redeemer.
When discussing “God” moments with fellow Christians often He is seen in the sunrise or sunset or the clouds or the beautiful blue of a summer sky or a bright winters day. Just like the psalmist says “the heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display His craftmanship.” And the message in the skies can be found around the whole world. As I celebrate the bounty of where I live and look at world hunger ( World Food Day is October 16th) I can be overwhelmed by the logistics of feeding the world. But spending time with God every day and reading his word revives my soul and brings joy to my heart. O Lord my rock and my redeemer.

Psalm 19 v2
Prayer: Almighty God who is bigger than all the worlds problems remind us today of your steadfast love seen in the skies above Amen.
So very beautiful!
It also comforts me greatly that at Sleeping Children, we remind ourselves that we help
ONE PERSON AT A TIME.
