Psalm 148 v 5 “Let every created things give praise to the Lord, for he issued his command, and they came into being.”
Praise the Lord. Praise Him all the angels, all the armies in heaven. Let every created thing give raise to the Lord, for he issued his command, and they came into being.” Praise the Lord from the earth, you creatures of the ocean depths, wind and weather obey Him. Young men and young women, old men and children. He made His people strong, honoring His faithful ones. Praise the Lord.
In re writing the words that stood out to me in this psalm I noticed that in describing all the people the psalmist did not mention specifically old women. In a few lines above He mentions “all people.” Some of the wisest women I know are by definition old women. That is one of my titles too.
