1 Corinthians 9:16 – 23v 19 “Even though I am a freeman with no master, I have become a slave to all people to bring many to Christ.”
How terrible for me if I didn’t preach the Good News! But I have no choice God has given me this sacred trust. Even though I am a freeman with no master, I have become a slave to all people to bring many to Christ.” When I was with Jews I followed the Jewish law, when with gentiles I too lived outside the Jewish laws. But I do not ignore the law of God, I obey the law of Christ. Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone, doing everything I can to save some. I do everything to spread the Good News and share in its blessings.
It is easy to stay in the comfort of your home, your church, and have great conversations with Christian friends. For Paul and other gifted preachers and missionaries they have a God calling to go out into the world and a template here of how to do it. Obey God, His laws but adjust to the culture where you are to share the Good News and blessings.

Think about the different cultures you are a part of. Where do you shop for groceries? Locally, big store, farm shop? What entertainment do you enjoy, going to the movies, to the arena, to the pool, to a concert? Remember to follow God’s laws in all these places and show His love as you never know how you might be spreading the Good News!
Prayer: Lord God Almighty take us out of our comfort zones to the different cultures where we work and play to spread the Good News to all. Amen.
