2 Corinthians 4: 3-6 v 5 “We don’t go around preaching about ourselves. We preach that Jesus Christ is Lord, and we ourselves are your servants for Jesus’ sake.”
The Good News hidden behind a veil? Satan, the God of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. We don’t go around preaching about ourselves. We preach that Jesus Christ is Lord, and we ourselves are your servants for Jesus’ sake.” God said, “Let there be light”. He has made this light shine in our hearts. We can therefore see the Glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
In Ontario where I live it has been a very dull winter but today the sun was shining and what a difference it makes. Dark thoughts from Satan and blindly being led by the things of this world were changed by the light. Life is better when Jesus Christ is Lord and His light shines from our hearts. Rejoice in the light today, as we see the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Prayer: Holy God who reminds us on sunny days that the light comes from you and is in us. Help us to shine brightly as we teach others to see the face of Jesus Christ. Amen.
