Psalm 25;1-10 v 8 “The Lord is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray.”
O Lord, I trust in you, my God! No one who trusts in you will be disgraced. Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. Remember me in the light of your love, for you are merciful, O Lord. The Lord is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. The Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness.
I am struggling in one of my university courses with the little details required in how to cite and references articles. I learn’t that this is the language of academia. It is something I must learn if I want to write an article that will be respected and published. In this psalm I find comfort that yes, I need to learn so not to be frustrated or angry about the path I need to be taught. If I ask others to realize that I am doing this out of love for the world for the problems I see from my science background. I am frustrated by the challenge that is part of the arts that can be happy without solutions. I might not be able to come up with a solution but working towards it is enough? And there it is. God is good. He shows the right path. Those who go astray, the Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness. If the path I am on is loving, then it is the right path.
Prayer: Heavenly Father thank you for your loving guidance in all we do that keeps us on the right path. As you lead with love, we are sorry if we do not seek the help we need, or is offered. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
