Psalm 22: 23-31 v 24 “For he has not ignored or belittled the suffering of the needy. He has not turned His back on them but has listened to their cries for help.”
Praise the Lord. For he has not ignored or belittled the suffering of the needy. He has not turned His back on them but has listened to their cries for help. The poor will eat and be satisfied. All who seek the lord will praise Him. The whole earth will return to Him. Our children will also serve Him. They will hear about everything He has done.

There are always advantages to the changing seasons and winter has enabled me to clear out a few of those corners that were becoming a haven for papers and other “stuff”. However, in moving things around I hid the folder with our wills in and other relevant information regarding our banking that our children will need one day. In reading the psalm this week I also realized that there is other important information that we must pass on to our children, our faith. God who sees the suffering of the needy will help us to find a way to teach our children. I am reassured to hear that they will hear everything that he has done even if I hide it from them!
Prayer: Heavenly Father who loves us all, from generation to generation, help us to find ways to pass on your love to those in the next and the next generations. Amen.
