Psalm 107: 1-3, 17 – 22 v 2 Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out! Tell others he has redeemed you from your enemies.”
Give thanks to the Lord for He is good. Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out! Tell others he has redeemed you from your enemies. He has gathered the exiles from many lands. Some were fools; they rebelled and suffered for their sins. “Lord help!” They cried in their trouble. He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death. Let them praise the Lord, offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, and sing joyfully.
If you think back on your journey in this life so far, I am sure there are certain things that happened that were significant turning points. Some sent you down a road that was not good and did you call to God for help? Others were good things that happened easily. Take time today to call on God for help with the things that are not going well and praise Him for the things that you are thankful for. Sing joyfully! Speak out to yourself, to God and to others about the good life He has led you to experience as He gathers us all together from many lands.
Prayer: Heavenly Father we are sorry for the decisions that have taken us away from the path you have planned for us and we thank you for the wonderful things you have done that bring us closer to you. Amen.
