Let me remind you of the Good News. It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message, I told you. I passed on to you the most important. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scripture said. He was raised from the dead. He was seen by Peter, by the twelve, by 500 of his followers at one time. Last of all, as though I had been born at the wrong time, I also saw Him. Whatever I am now it was because God poured out His special favor on me. – and not without results. It makes no difference whether I preach, or they preach, we all preach the same message that you have already believed.
We all need encouragement to be reminded of what we believe and to be encouraged to continue to believe it. The Good News of the Easter message is that Christ died, for everyone, a final sacrifice. He overcame death, he was seen alive by many people. Does it really matter who has told us this? No but it does matter what we do with it and that we continue to believe it. You might be the last to know, to be wondering why you were born just at this time? You are no different to Paul. Now you know the story and the important message. Live with the joy of the resurrected Christ!
Prayer: Heavenly Father restore the joy of Easter morning in our hearts and continue to equip us for the work of sharing the Good News in Jesus name we pray. Amen.
