Acts 4: 32-35 v 32 “All believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that all they owned was not their own, so they shared everything that they had.”
All believers were united in heart and mind. The apostles testified powerfully to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and God’s great blessing was upon them all. There were no needy people among them. Those who owned land or houses would sell them and bring the money to the apostles to give to those in need.
In this I fall short. My home is important to me and right now I do not want to sell it to give to those in need. What do we do when we come up against a statement that we struggle with? I look at the other important messages. Put aside those I find difficult, knowing that others like Billy Graham, also found contradictions in actions in the bible but accepted it as the word of God for the people of God. If the church, you are part of is struggling for money then be more generous. Are there people in the church body testifying to the resurrection? And is God blessing all of them?

Look at your situation and take from the word of God the things that are important for you today. Don’t give up on trying to be the best person you can be for God.
Prayer: Heavenly Father who sees into our hearts, keep us united in the faith groups we are part of. We thank you for the blessings we are receiving of improved health, wisdom, and financial security in the name of Jesus Christ our risen Lord. Amen.
