Psalm 133 v 1 “How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!”
How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony! It is as precious as the anointing oil, refreshing as the dew from mount Hermon, life everlasting.
This past Sunday came to mind with these words about harmony. That sometimes-fleeting time when all the world is at peace! My husband and I were in the kitchen working together at getting supper ready, harmony. Looking out into our garden our adult children were enjoying sitting in the warm sunshine and chatting together, harmony. The grandchildren were happily playing together on the slide, without winter coats and boots, harmony. It didn’t last long, but how wonderful and pleasant it was.
Striving for that better life can lead to the Lord blessing our life with life everlasting!
Prayer: Heavenly Father as you look around your world for moments of harmony, we thank you for the blessing that you send and the promise of life everlasting. Amen.
