Opportunity

 Acts 3;12-19 v 15 “You killed the author of life, but God raised Him from the dead. And we are witnesses of this fact.”

Peter addressed the crowd. What is surprising about what they had done? (They healed a crippled beggar) For it is the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob – the God of all our ancestors- who has brought glory to His servant Jesus by doing this. You killed the author of life, but God raised Him from the dead. And we are witnesses of this fact!

Jesus commissioned the apostles to go out into the world and preach the good news about himself. That following Jesus is “The Way”. If you believe and see an opportunity today to talk about Jesus, then take it. Witness to the facts. It can be as simple as giving someone a hug, saying you are sorry, or offering encouragement to someone who is struggling. The risen Jesus is with you today. Seize the opportunity for Him!

Prayer: Heavenly Father give us the words today and the opportunity to help those we meet in the name of Jesus who was sent to be all, for all. Amen.
