1 John 3: 1-7 v 2 “Dear Friends, we are already God’s children, but He has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He really is.”
See how our Father loves us, He calls us His children. Dear Friends, we are already God’s children, but He has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He really is. All who have this eager expectation will keep pure as He is. All sin is contrary to God’s law. There is no sin in Jesus. Anyone who keeps on sinning does not know Him. When people do what is right, it shows that they are righteous.
I can spend all day happily watching my grandchildren play and experience the world. It gives me great joy. I wondered after reading this passage if that is how God feels about us, His children? As we make choices every day to not sin, to pray, to not be overwhelmed by this complex world in which we find ourselves does God feel joy to? Eventually we will see Him. Halleluiah!

Prayer: Heavenly Father thank you for loving us like children. Guide my thoughts and my actions today to make the choices you have for me to bring joy to my life as we prepare to meet Jesus, Amen.
