Acts 4:5-12 v 10 “Let me clearly state to all of you and to all the people of Israel that he was healed by the powerful name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene.”
The next day the council of all the rulers and elders and teachers of religious law met in Jerusalem. They brought in the two disciples (Peter and John) and demanded “By what power or in whose name, have you done this?” (gave a lame beggar the ability to walk) Then Peter filled with the power of the Holy Spirit said, “Do you want to know how he was healed?” Let me clearly state to all of you and to all the people of Israel that he was healed by the powerful name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene. For Jesus is the one who referred to in the scriptures, where is says, “The stone that the builders rejected has now become the corner stone” God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”
Powerful people wanted to know how a miracle happened even though they had killed the corner stone. When you use the name of Jesus great things can happen. If you concentrate on the work that he asks you to do you will have a life with purpose. The Holy Spirit will give you the words you need and the right attitude for the situation. Look back at the miracles you performed in the name of Jesus.
Prayer: Almighty God we thankyou today for the jobs we have had, for our family and friends. Give us the courage to continue to live our lives understanding the power of the risen Christ that is with us always. Amen.
