One flock, one Shepherd!

John 10: 11-18 v 16 “I have other sheep, too, that are not in this sheepfold. I must bring them also. They will listen to my voice, and there will be one flock, one shepherd.”

I am the good shepherd and will lay down my life for my sheep. A hired man will run when he sees a wolf come. A hired man cares about the money not the sheep.

I am the good shepherd. I know my own sheep and they know me. I have other sheep, too, that are not in this sheepfold. I must bring them also. They will listen to my voice, and there will be one flock, one shepherd.”

No one can take my life from me. I sacrifice it voluntarily. For this is what my Father has commanded.

Some sheep are happy within the sheepfold. Christians attending recognized denominational churches. But I see hope for those outside the sheep fold which I personally identify as. The important thing for both sheep is that they know the voice of the good shepherd, Jesus and listen to what He is saying. Jesus ultimately voluntarily follows the commands of His Father. Through this intimate connection of Father and Son we can all be safe, in or out of the sheepfold.

“I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me. ” John 10 v 14

Prayer: Heavenly Father we thank you for the safety we feel in your presence whether in or outside the sheepfold. Amen.
