John 3: 1-17v 17 “God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.”
Nicodemus, a Jewish leader, and Pharisee went to talk to Jesus after dark one evening. He knew God was with Jesus due to the miracle He performed. Jesus said to him” I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” How could this be? Jesus replied,” I assure you that no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.” This is how God loved the world. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.”
My Mom often said to me you make life too complicated! Others like Nicodemus had the same problem. Trying to understand the words of Jesus was difficult. When was he talking in parables, when did he mean things literally. How could an old man be born again? Jesus set the example, his baptism, born of water. At this point the coming of the Holy spirit, represented by fire had not occurred, but Jesus was always telling the truth. Belief in Him would save the world. What he says always comes to pass. Each of us will be saved through Jesus. Simple. Not complicated. A truth to live by.

Prayer: Holy God, we thank you for sending us your Son who shows us how to be the best we can be in this world as we wait for life everlasting through Him. Amen.
