2 Corinthians 4: 13 – 5:1v 16 “That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.”
We continue to preach, to a God who raised the Lord Jesus. As God’s grace reaches more and more people there will be great thanksgiving. That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. Our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. We fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. We know that when our earthly tent is taken down, we will have a house in heaven.

Take a moment to count the hats you wear, the different things you are in your day. Here are a few to get you going sister, friend, philanthropist, shopper, cook, gardener. You could even try and put them in order, what you do most of or what you enjoy most or what you feel is more important. Overwhelmed already? Maybe it’s time to adjust the list and never give up on things that cannot be seen. The grace of God that renews our soul every day! Our bodies may be full of aches and pains, our brains not as sharp for the entire day as they once were. These troubles are small and won’t last long. Know that when this life is done, we will have a home in heaven! Never give up!
Prayer: Holy God who knows our intimate heart renew us today by your grace. Shelter us in the arms of Jesus as we go about our day fixing our gaze on things we cannot see. Amen.
