Trees

 Ezekiel 17: 22-24 v 23b “ Birds of every kind will nest in it; they will find shelter in the shade of its branches.”

The Sovereign Lord says” I yself will take a shoot from the very top of a cedar and plant it; I will break off a tender sprig from its topmost shoots and plant it on a high and lofty mountain. It will produce branches and bear fruit. Birds of every kind will nest in it; they will find shelter in the shade of its branches. All the trees of the forest will know that I the Lord bring down the tall tree, make the low tree grow tall, and make the dry tree flourish.

I am writing this surrounded by green trees and through the trees I can see a lake. I am on vacation but even here the Lord has a message. I am in charge, I look after even the trees, but in the shade of the branches will be shelter. I the Lord have spoken and I will do it. Sometimes we doubt the Lord, think He does not hear our prayers but look at the trees and be reminded that He , the Lord, does listen, and will provide the shade and shelter that you need today.

Prayer: Heavenly Father we thank you for the trees that give us shelter. Make us flourish in your name today Lord. Amen

Look for the bird sheltering in the tree!
