How long, high, deep?

 Ephesians 3:14-21v 18” And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how long, how high, and how deep His love is.”

I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray He will empower you through His spirit. Then Christ will make His home in your hearts. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. To Know His love, then you will be complete. Now all glory to God, as we accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to Him, forever and ever! Amen.

The Olympics in Paris is showing us the top athletes in the world today. The motto of the games to encourage all to go faster, higher, stronger in competition, that is together. It reminded me of the question in our passage today from Ephesians, how long, high, deep is God’s love for all the world?  We see many athletes thanking God for their ability to go higher, faster, stronger, as they break their personal bests. They will not all get a medal but that is the difference with God, we all have the ability to experience the long, high, deep love of God! It is what He wants for us. All we need to do is ask, and then the training and daily devotion to Him begins and who knows what you will accomplish, in His name! Amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank you for the love you show to the world that is beyond our imagination, so deep, so high, so long. For the strength, the speed, and the height that it will take us in your name. Amen.
