Bread of Life!

John 6:35,41-51v 47-48 “ I tell the truth, anyone who believes has eternal life. Yes, I am the bread of life!”

Jesus replied” Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me with never be thirsty. Those the Father has given to me will come to me, and I will never reject them. And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even one of all those He has given me. I will raise them up on the last day. Stop complaining about what I said. They will be taught by God. Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from Him comes to me. I tell you the truth, anyone who believes has eternal life. Yes, I am the bread of life! This bread that I offer to the world is my flesh.

I always love the smell of bread cooking and the taste of it still warm is amazing. The bread of life is an analogy I can relate to. So I can also relate to Jesus, the bread of life. Everyone can be taught by God and if we listen comes to Jesus. To never be hungry or thirsty all we need to do is believe and God and Jesus will do the rest.  Yes Jesus is the bread of life!

Prayer: Heavenly Father open our hearts today so that we listen to your word and believe in Jesus the bread of Life. Amen.
