Ephesians 5:15-20 v 15 “So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise.”
Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Understand what the Lord wants you to do. Be filled with the Holy Spirit. Sing songs, make music, and give thanks, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Are these evil days? With global news constantly in our hands and the news reporting all the disasters, wars, corrupt politicians and racist police it is not hard to believe that times have not changed from the days when the bible was written. Part of living in community is to talk about the world as others see it, to connect with neighbours about life, but to also remember that as Christians we understand that the Lord wants us to be hopeful, to help those in need, give generously, and be filled with the Holy Spirit. Sing songs, make music, and give thanks in the name of Jesus Christ. Wisely rely on God’s plan to be the guide for your life. Be positive and live wisely today!
Prayer: Holy God who sees all, knows all, give us a heart of love and joy today as we wisely navigate this world in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
