Salvation as your helmet and take the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God. Pray in the spirit and pray for me Paul. I am in chains now but pray I will still speak boldly for Him.
We often speak of the private inward feelings provided by our faith, the Holy Spirit inside us, guiding us in the rightness of the things we do. An inner peace that comes with this knowing. But here is an image of all those things on the outside. For armour is worn as protection for all to see. Just like the shield of the Salvation Army is well known for giving hope today.
