Hebrews 4: 12-16 v 13 “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before His eyes, and He is the one to whom we are accountable.”
The word of God is alive and powerful. Cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before His eyes, and He is the one to whom we are accountable. This High priest of ours understands our weaknesses. So let us come boldly to the throne. There we will receive mercy and find grace to help when we most need it.
There is lots of talk about sex and gender, and world conflict, and hunger and poverty in this world in which we find ourselves today. It is difficult to live with people with different values from your own, some that are deep within us. However, that is what God wants us to do. The things I don’t understand I am content to leave to God, from whom nothing is hidden. Can anyone physically go deeper in a body than to joint and marrow? Between our soul? Because of our weaknesses He sent us Jesus, the High Priest. We will receive forgiveness, and find an inner strength given by God who despite all will show us undeserved help when we most need it.
Prayer: Heavenly Father from whom nothing is hidden we are sorry for the times we are not true to the words and commands in the bible. Help us through the love of Jesus Christ to love all those around us whatever their struggles on the inside with who they are on the outside. Help us in our time of need, in Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
