Psalm 34: 1-8, v 5 “Those who look to Him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces.”
I will praise the Lord at all times. I will boast only in the Lord. Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness. Those who look to Him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!”
I still see it in sport, in the past few weeks a home run was an answer to prayer. The baseball player was standing at home plate and praying to God! The joy on his face as he ran the bases was fun to watch. A friend who preaches once in a while has this radiant look when she talks of the wonderful moments of God inspired truth that come to her admittedly sometimes at odd hours of the day or that require her to rewrite what she intended to say. And I find peace when writing something that I know God has inspired me to write. Boast only in the Lord and be radiant in joy!
Prayer: Almighty God, we thank you for the inspiration you give us everyday as we walk with you. Amen.
