Mark 12: 28-34 v 30 “And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.”
Jesus was having a debate and was asked “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” Jesus replied. The most important commandment is this: “Listen O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. The second “Love your neighbor as yourself” The teacher of the religious law replied, “Well said teacher.” This is more important than to offer all of the burnt offerings and sacrifices required in the law” And after that no one dared to ask Him any more questions.
Often many questions are asked of God. Why this Lord, why that. Our understanding can be based on going to church rather than being the church. Incorporating our love of the Lord in all we do is the greatest commandment. Take a deep breath right now. Give your worries to God then ask what would He want you to do at this moment? Love Him, Love others. Have a great day!
