Jesus is watching us!

Mark 12: 38-44 v 41 “Jesus sat down near the collection box in the Temple and watched as the crowds dropped in their money.”

Jesus also taught: “Beware of these teachers of religious law!  They love the seats of honor in the synagogues, yet they shamelessly cheat widows out of their property and then pretend to be pious by making long prayers in public. Jesus sat down near the collection box in the Temple and watched as the crowds dropped in their money.  Jesus called His disciples together and said” I tell you the truth this poor widow has given more than all the others who are making contributions. For they gave a tiny bit of their surplus, she has given everything she has to live on.”

To humbly walk with God is one of the most difficult things to do. To not get caught up with the feeling like Jesus saw in the teachers of the religious law, I am great because I can pray long prayers, I am doing so much for an organization I deserve to get in free, I give what I can, and other “I “statements that you can think of. Jesus teaches us and watches us and sees what is on the inside of these outward actions.
