Psalm 25: 1-10 v 4 “Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow.”
I trust in you, my God! Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me. Do not remember the rebellious sins of my youth. Remember me in the light of your unfailing love. The Lord is good and does what is right; He shows the proper path to those who go astray. The Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep His covenant and obey His demands.
Life leads us in many different directions, but the ones designated by God lead to good things for you and those around you. I was frustrated the other day with the presentation I had done on a Wednesday night so said to myself I need time away to do better and will not do another until the New Year. God had different plans. A friend was sick and there I was presenting again a couple of weeks later. I took a deep breath, prayed for some help, and did a much better job! Trust in God to show you the right path. For those who are astray, feeling lost challenge yourself to a different direction, if good things come from it then you are on the right path. Life following Gods path is never a straight line!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank you for your guidance that is sometimes straight, sometimes narrow, and sometimes takes an unexpected turn but is always good. Amen.
