Stranger Things!

Luke 21: 25-36 v 26 “People will be terrified at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers in the heavens will be shaken.”

And there will be strange signs in the sun, moon and stars. People will be terrified at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers in the heavens will be shaken. Then everyone will see the son of man coming on a cloud with power and great glory. So, when all these things happen stand and look up.  Notice a fig tree. When the leaves come out, you know summer is near. Heaven and earth may disappear, but my words will never disappear. Don’t let the day catch you unaware. Keep alert at all times. Pray that you might be strong.

The title for today was borrowed from a TV series with the same name. A young boy was seeing strange things, and an alternate universe was found but that was just a story the product of someone’s imagination. The bible and its stories are much more significant for our lives as although strange things may happen if you pray and look up to the heavens you will be strong enough. Wisdom and joy are found in serving others. Don’t let your heart be dulled with the worries of life.
