Peace!

Philippians 4:4-7 v 6 “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all he has done.”

Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again – rejoice! Remember that the Lord is coming soon. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all he has done Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.

Having a relationship with God makes you a different person. If you are not changed by the religious experiences that you have then they are not connected with God. I am still trying to have that outward sense of peace that I find in many of the deeply religious people I have met over the years, but I am relying on God’s promises more and more each day. He made me just right for the things He wants me to do as He did you. When you attend a worship service and connect with others and find that peace in the middle of the crazy life you also experience it is amazing!

Prayer: Thank you, God, for providing the many different experiences in our days that show that you care about every one of us. For the moments of peace, awe, and understanding that come from you as we live this crazy life. Take away the worries of this season so that we can enjoy the relationships that are important to you. Amen.
