The Rock!

Psalm 89 : 20-29 v “And He will call out to me, “You are my Father; my God, and the rock of my salvation.”

I have found my servant David. With my powerful arm I will make him strong. My faithfulness and unfailing love will be with him and by my authority he will grow in power. And He will call out to me, “You are my Father, my God, and the rock of my salvation. I will love him and be kind to him forever. His throne will be as endless as the days of heaven.

We all have a job to do that God made us specifically for. We see in this psalm that God will give us strength and wants us to grow. If we call out to Him , He will be our rock and will love us forever. Sometimes we trust too much in our own planning and direction and focus too much on the days ahead instead of the day we have. Look around today at the wonderful world in which we live, marvel at what you see in nature, and know that the love of God is with you forever.

Prayer: Heavenly Father we thank you for the wonders of this world, for your kindness and strength that helps us to grow. In Jesus name we pray today. Amen.
