Acts 4: 8-13v “They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus.”
Do you want to know how he was healed? He was healed by the powerful name of Jeus Christ, the Nazarene. “The stone that the builders rejected has become the corner stone.” There is salvation in no one else. They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus.
In one of my current University courses, I have learnt the definition of a primary historical source. Something that was past on orally or written by the people who experienced the event first hand. The apostle Peter was speaking about Jesus and what he had done in His name. He was recognized by the rulers and elders as a man who had been with Jesus. A primary source of historical events. Peter was not only an eyewitness but also was healing a man in the name of Jesus. Showing His power is alive and well after He died. What is true then, is true now.
Prayer: Almighty God, we thank you for sending your Son Jesus to the world, for the world. Encourage us through the Holy Spirit to speak boldly in His name to show He is as alive now as He was then. Amen.
