Revive Us Again!

 Psalm 85 v 6 “Won’t you revive us again, so your people can rejoice in you?”

Lord, you poured out blessings on your land. You held back your fury. Now restore us again, O God of our salvation. Put aside your anger against us once more. Won’t you revive us again, so your people can rejoice in you? I listen carefully to what God the Lord is saying, for He speaks peace to his faithful people.  Unfailing love and truth have met together. Righteousness and peace have kissed! Truth springs up from the earth.

Life is full of ups and downs. Is our peace-loving God angry at us and therefore we suffer, or do we suffer as we forget to listen carefully to what the Lord is saying? Look to the words of God to be inspired and revived. He speaks peace. Be forgiving of others and take a deep breath to maintain peace. Show love first and tell the truth. Enjoy the wonders of the earth and be revived again!

Prayer: Holy God thank you for speaking to us through your scriptures and reviving us when we are down so we can rejoice in you again. Amen.
