Over the next six Fridays the Christian period known as lent will be explored which involves understanding what lent is and the practices of praying, fasting and giving.
Todays reflection is understanding lent which is a period of 40 days from now until the celebration of Easter.( Sundays are not included). Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness before He started His ministry. He was visited by the devil. As Christians we believe that God is good and that the devil represents bad things.
As a family talk about the things that you like and the bad things that make you sad or angry. We all have a choice to do good things or bad things. Sometimes things can be both. Using screens can be good but too much can be bad so we need to learn to be good about all the things that we do. Jesus chose to do good things. What will you do?
