Giving
This is the first of two reflections on giving as it is an important topic in the bible. How do we know giving is important, because God himself demonstrates giving and Jesus talks about it too using stories or parables to help us understand the different ways to give.
Think first as a family what you have to give! Everyone has something. Their time, the things they are good at, sometimes referred to as talents, and money.
Another important thing about giving is to be happy about it! Being thankful for all the things you have so much so that you want to share with others.
We also know that others, people, and animals have trouble finding the food and shelter that they need and those are the particular ones that God wants us to help. So begin to look for people and animals that need help. You can find some ideas on our giving page
Decide on the things you have to give, do it with a smile, especially to those in need today!
