Several of Jesus’ disciples were fishermen and so he performed miracles that related to their earthly needs. After a frustrating night of fishing on the sea of galilee, and catching nothing, Jesus stood on the shore and told them to throw out their nets again. They followed his instructions and the net was filled with fish. When they returned to shore Jesus was cooking their breakfast and they all sat down to enjoy it. This was after he had been crucified, and laid dead in the tomb.
Jesus is alive to help us with our everyday needs too. Make a fire in your backyard and enjoy a meal together as a family or put a blanket on the floor and have a picnic in your kitchen. When you follow Jesus good things happen.

Four times a year, Canadian residents can fish in Ontario for free. This means you do not need to buy a fishing licence if you want to fish during:
