The voice of the Lord!

 Psalm 29 v 6 “The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic.”

Honor the Lord. Worship the Lord. The voice of the Lord echoes above the sea. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic. The voice of the Lord strikes with bolts of lightning, and makes the barren wilderness shake. The voice of the Lord twists mighty oaks. The Lord rules over the flood waters, reigns as king forever, gives his people strength and blesses them with peace.

Whatever happens on this earth, floods, storms, tornadoes, in the wilderness, mountains or over the seas, the voice of the Lord is greater than all these and can be heard anywhere. This gives His people strength, and He also gives us peace. And so we honor and worship Him. It is important to remember that God is in the small details of our lives but also in the bigger times. If we listen when we are totally overwhelmed, we can hear His voice. Sometimes when we are quietly going about our lives, he loudly asks us to re direct. Whatever we are asked to do he gives us the strength to do it and an amazing peace when we obey.
