Galatians 5:1, 13-25 v 13 “You have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead use your freedom to serve one another in love.”
So, Christ has truly set you free. You have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead use your freedom to serve one another in love. Beware of destroying one another. Let the Holy spirit guide your lives. But the Holy spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.
Summer is here! No longer bound by the cold, ice and snow we can walk freely around. No longer restricted by heavy clothes to keep us warm we can enjoy the freedom of a gentle breeze blowing over our skin! As you plan and enjoy summer fun make sure that you love all those you meet as you travel to new places and renew relationships with old friends and family. Look for the fruits of the Spirit in every part of your life today.

Prayer: Almighty God who sent the Holy spirit to guide us , open our hearts to loving those around us so that we can experience the fruits of the spirit in all that we do. Amen.
