Praise the Lord!

Psalm 146 v 2 “I will praise the Lord as long as I live. I will sing praises to my God with my dying breath.”

Let all that I am praise the Lord. I will praise the Lord as long as I live. I will sing praises to my God with my dying breath. Joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the Lord their God. He keeps every promise forever. The Lord will reign forever.

When you are in the last season of your life, as I am, you begin to look forward only one day at a time, as one financial planner used to say, “It is a time in our lives when we don’t even buy green bananas!” Most of us have planned and paid off mortgages over twenty-five or thirty years. No longer have life insurance for anything other than a funeral. Have given up saving for retirement as we are there. Our search for the meaning of life has found answers in the bible and this psalm reminds us of what is important in these our final days. To keep on singing God’s praises, to live in His hope for a better world, to know that He is our helper, and to experience the joy of the Lord. He promises to take care of those who have problems. All we can do is our best to continue to follow our passions that God has planted in our hearts and to Praise the Lord!

Have a great day and join in below praising God!
