Psalm 100: 3-5 “God made us, and we are His. We are His people, the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving, go into His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and His faithfulness continues to each generation.”
Sometimes I forget that God has made us. But really, God knew us before we were even born, even though we are born here on earth. We belong to Creator God. And when we realize that God created us and gives us all we have, then we will want to give to others all the things that God gives to us. So let’s remember to recognize God’s authority and come into His Presence singing with praise and joy. In that way we can remember God’s goodness and that we can depend on Him for all our needs.
Prayer: Loving God, we give You thanks for all the gifts You give us. We gaze into the stars as we wonder how You have made us in Your image. We will remember Your kindness as we praise You with shouts of joy in song. Amen.
