Matthew 6: 25-33v 33 “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything that you need.”
That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life- whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and gone tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? Your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything that you need.
As I write this post, I am living in a country of plenty, food of every kind and money enough to buy what I want. As you read this, I will be living in a third world country with a lot less. In both places I have godly people who help me to focus on what God wants for His people, of us as a group and from me. Seeking the Kingdom is not a recipe for a blissful life of perfect relationships and happy ever after endings but in the ups and downs are moments of the divine. When a deep sense of peace, love and joy are present. Seek the Kingdom, and God will give you everything that you need.
Prayer: Heavenly Father thank you the moments when we truly connect with you as we seek your Kingdom. Amen.
