Grace and Peace in Adversity

2Thessalonians 1:1-2  “This letter is from Paul, Silas, and Timothy. We are writing to the church in Thessalonica, to you who belong to God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. May God our Father and the Lord, Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.”

There are times when we are faced with doubts and adversity when it comes to our Christian faith. The letter above is encouraging the believers in Thessalonica to keep the faith. The apostle Paul is telling the believers to be strong when troubles come and that God will give them grace and peace. We, too, can take heart in this regard. When troubles come, just ask God to help you to be strong and obedient to His Word. God keeps all His promises!

Prayer: Loving God, we thank you for your grace and peace when troubles surround us. Help us to remember that You are with us always. Amen.
