Psalm 31: 1-6 v5 “I entrust my spirit into your hand. Rescue me, Lord, for you are a faithful God.”
O Lord, I come to you for protection; don’t let me be disgraced. Save me, for you do what is right. Be my rock of protection. I entrust my spirit into your hand. Rescue me, Lord, for you are a faithful God. I trust in the Lord.
Like David who wrote this psalm we all have our trials. Things in our lives that cause us anxiety, that make us angry, that could harm ourselves or others. David cried out to the Lord for protection. You too can ask the Lord for help and trust in the Lord to do what is right for you. The Lord is our rock, Jesus our foundation. Entrust your spirit to Him. He is a faithful God.
Prayer: Almighty God, our rock, our protector, save us from our trials and lead us to the path of salvation. Amen.
